This course covers the requirements of the Uniform Guidance (2 CFR, Part 200) and Compliance Supplement, preparation of the Single Audit report, and overall audit coordination for Federal grants. Participants will learn about major program determination and other aspects of Subpart F of the Uniform Guidance. In addition, participants will analyze and determine proper revenue recognition for grants under GASB 33.

12 CPE and satisfies requirements VGFOA Certificate Program. A
certification exam will be given immediately after the end of the
class. Participants are asked to bring a copy of their own
jurisdiction’s most recent Single Audit report. Objective: This
course covers the requirements of the Uniform Guidance (2 CFR, Part
200) and Compliance Supplement, preparation of the Single Audit report,
and overall audit coordination for Federal grants. Participants will
learn about major program determination and other aspects of Subpart F
of the Uniform Guidance. In addition, participants will analyze and
determine proper revenue recognition for grants under GASB 33.
Participants will discuss the roles of individual grant managers versus
the central finance function for monitoring Federal grant compliance
